My visit attending the Mimi Bite Gastronomic cooking school classes was truly amazing. It was equipped with everything you could ever imagine and made me feel really at home.
Each year I travel out on a food safari to amazing overseas destinations to refresh and learn. I was so inspired at tasting and understanding the secrets of traditional Basque cuisine which was definitely the highlight of my trip. Mediterranean food always grabs my heart and being able to share so many ideas, combinations and inspiration at my Restaurant in Faroe Islands means so much to me.
It was situated in a Luxury Hotel in San Sebastián called the Maria Cristina, which was right in the city and just a short walk away from the iconic old town.

'Listen - even if the dishes, techniques, methods and ingredients I learnt and appreciated in Spain are alien and I will never use at my Culinary home in Faroe, it does not matter it is about satisfying my 'Chefs desire' to learn and understand and then possibly adapt.
